TRAIL STATUS UPDATE:  All Chippewa County Snowmobile trails are open. Trail conditions are Good.
Check back to this Website/CVSO Facebook. Link to Wisconsin Snow Report  for the current statewide trail conditions. (updated February 23rd, 2018)

Caution: Feb 17 to Feb 26. The Chippewa Rod & Gun Club will be cutting holes in the ice on Lake Wissota to install rock reefs. These installations will be west of the marked snowmobile trail that runs from The Edge to the Island on Lake Wissota.

Notice to snowmobilers: Please Stay off the Old Abe Horse Trail that runs parallel to the Old Abe Snowmobile Trail from Intersection 26 to Intersection 96. The horse trail is just East of the snowmobile trail and runs from the trail head located on 97th Ave (junction of Hwy S  & Hwy O) north of Chippewa Falls to the Town Hall parking lot in Jim Falls. The Old Abe Horse Trail is in open for horseback riding during the winter.

CVSO Family Fun Trailside Sledding Party February 25th
Sledding Party will be held  12 to 5 pm.

By trail: On Corridor 31 just a half mile North of the Eau Claire County Line
By road: On Cty Hwy K, a half mile south of Cty Hwy OO, East side of Road, Parking available in field. See Events Tab for more information.
