Dean Johnson Memorial Bridge Dedication
The Stanley Sno-Chargers hosted the dedication that took place on Saturday March 11, 2023. Many family & friends were present along with the AWSC President Dave Newman. Representatives from many of the snowmobile clubs in Chippewa County were also at the event.
Dean bought his first Ski-Doo Snowmobile in 1969. From that point on, he was hooked on snowmobiling. He was recognized in 1995 as one of the most loyal Ski-Doo snowmobile owners in the world. He rode every chance he got and became actively involved in local snowmobile clubs. He became treasurer of the Chippewa County Snowmobile Organization for 25 years. From there, he moved up to the state level serving as Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs Director for Chippewa County for 26 years. He loved to travel and spent many vacations on road trips, cruises and snowmobile trips out west. He also enjoyed softball, hunting, and attending NASCAR races.
